Richard is a Chartered Engineer with an international career in major infrastructure construction projects. With a passion for luxury sailing, culture and cuisine, Richard founded Essential Sailing to provide you with the opportunity to enjoy the best that sailing has to offer, without the responsibility of owning and maintaining your own yacht.
Kate Reeves
Sailing Director
Kate has sailed all around the world and is a professional Yacht Master and an accredited instructor. Kate was the founder skipper of ‘First Essential’ and now our Sailing Director. As our onboard chef, Kate has established our enviable reputation for gourmet meals cooked with fresh, local ingredients.
Philip Reeves
Operations Manager
Phil is our Operations Manager and will make arrangements to meet you at the marina after you have transferred from the airport by private chauffeur. Phil has established strong relationships with local capitaineries and hire companies to give you discounted rates on everything from jet skis to bicycles. He will also be able to suggest sights to see and arrange special trips for you.
Saghi Zarbafi
Client Services Manager
Saghi is responsible for our Client Services and has 25 years’ experience of efficiently running and managing an office. Saghi will be your first point of contact when dealing with your enquiries and special bookings and will ensure you have all the information you need to guarantee you the luxury sailing holiday of a lifetime.
